Van'Africa was born from a simple conviction: South Africa deserves better than a group itinerary. It deserves the time, the slowness, and the freedom of a van.
Origin
Our story
It all started with a personal road trip along the Garden Route in 2019. Three weeks in a poorly equipped rental van, uncomfortable nights, failing equipment — and yet, the most beautiful landscapes we had ever seen.
This contradiction obsessed us. How could one of the most spectacular destinations in the world so thoroughly lack a premium van offering? Existing solutions were either too basic or too rigid.
Van'Africa is our answer to this gap. Vans designed as living spaces — not cars with a mattress. A travel approach that prioritises the quality of the experience over the quantity of kilometres.

Our vans depart from and return to Cape Town. We are reachable Monday to Saturday, 8am to 6pm (SAST).
